Losing a pet is very hard and I sincerely hope you don't lose yours soon. Enjoy the razor but most importantly enjoy your pet while you have her. When it does finally come, make sure to consider cremation. Getting the ashes back after they pass is precious and pain relieving. I have mine on the mantle with a large portrait of him and look at it every day

Wingdo, my friend, Robert is a class act, a gentleman and a fine artisan. Good show on your new razor. A seven-day Robert Williams set sounds delicious.

Dogs are the best. I much prefer the company of the average dog to that of the average human.
Had a Shep when I was younger. I'm telling you, that dog had a sense of humor. SUCH good dogs...!! Enjoy the exquisite taste sharpening sharpening taste exquisite smooth. Please taste the taste enough to ride cutlery.

Doug congrats to you. What a wonderful razor Robert made for you! Truly something special.
I too have had the pleasure of working with (and talking to) Robert before and hopefully will again. He is a true gentleman in all senses of the word.

Here's my favorite picture of Grace.
For a few years my wife and I were separated and living apart. A couple years after that a friend of mine at the time and I went to the annual IKC dog show at McCormick Place downtown and while wandering the show found a number of rescue groups. Lots of great dogs, but one caught my eye. It was a rescued Pit Bull from a wonderful program called the Chicago Court Case Dogs. Everyone was passing her by due to the scars on her face, and her hand cropped ears. She was the sweetest thing and a few days after the show her foster mom brought her over to my house to meet with Grace. After a brief introduction out front and a short walk, we brought them both into the backyard. This was the result:
The girls lived together for 3 years and are still the best of friends. Never a single issue between them.

What a beautiful piece of work. I have one RW razor and it is simply a great razor. And yes...Mr. Williams is a true gentleman who has both razor making and people skills. Great combination....
