    Default Portland Razor Co.

I had been looking into getting a new razor for a bit now. While looking I was interested in another razor that I thought was made in the U.S. but come to find out it is only assembled in the states, still not sure where the blanks are made.

So my quest continued trying to find a razor made here in the U.S. Doing so I came across the Portland Razor Co. It is made here from start to finish which is exactly what I was in quest of.

Ordered one just the other day, the 6/8 Leviathan in ivory acrylic. Now the wait begins.

I think you made a great choice. Scott at Portland Razor Company takes a lot of pride in his work. #1 for customer satisfaction.

I don't think I have ever heard a review on these.

They offered to send some out for review and that was the last I heard of them.

I just looked at the website. They look unchanged. I'm still not crazy about the aesthetics of that heel but at least it is a unique style. The Leviathan is listed as a square point but it appears to be a spike point.

Please let us know how it shaves.

I have a Spanish point version on the way also, as you know Wid. Really looking forward to it!

What good timing , my girlfriend just got me the Kraken in ivory scales for my birthday. I like the feel and weight of the blade, my first shave was very nice right out of the box. I have all extra hollows now so the blade does feel quite different on my face . I'll post some pics later I'm out with the kids now. I will say I'm getting another because they are supporting a craftsman that enjoys our hobby

The hydra model was reviewed a while back. It may have been Cangooner but don't quote me on that. If I recall it was quite favorable.
