    Trees are a renewable resource, unfortunately if they are not replanted there is no renewal. A lot of these wood that we prize so much are very slow growing to boot. Add to that the very destructive, to the environment, and unregulated harvesting methods used in places where these exotic woods grow and you are on the road to extinction. Raping it is.

    This ebay guy has Cocobolo and is very approachable with regards to your needs.
    I've dealt with him many times and he's a delight to work with.

    Chaffee (rastamanwood) is a cool guy, he even cuts some 1/8th-3/16th blanks for razor scales, which makes it allot easier then trying to cut down a thicker piece your self. This is where I've been sourcing all my wood for scales.
