    Bill, my only thought is that while "paki" is obviously an abbreviation of Pakistan, it is also derogatory slang in the uk.

    Of course, but my point was that quality steel is available somewhere in the country. It just isn't used by the makers of RSOs and KSOs (knife shaped objects).
