At this point I would agree that it's a Fredrick Reynolds. Any idea on the date of manufacture?

If it is in fact a Frederick Reynolds I would expect it to predate his well known mark with the sideways FR beside his corporate mark. It does have an older style tail but not a stub tail.

Late 1830's to early 1840's guessing
