Hm.. They do say they're shave ready. It's not some random auction site though, it's the most 'renowned' one here in the Netherlands and sellers usually need to keep their promises to ensure future sales. Still a good tip, thank you!

But eh, the classifieds here look good, but they prices (SORRY!!!) are quite high and shipping to my country won't be cheap as well! I'll still keep an eye out

If worse comes to worst, there's a proper barber shop in the city center here who can hone my new razor.

Edit: Soooo, if a classifieds seller lists $17 as shipping costs and tells me that they will ship worldwide, does that $17 cover the worldwide shipping? Maybe a silly question, but I'd like to know ^^

Shave ready can be a very subjective thing. Especially on a site like SRP. Many here are looking for a very fine edge. I have bought a couple razors (ebay) reported to be shave ready and was only satisfied once. Again this is because it is subjective.

Maybe you could email the seller asking if the razors have been sharpened. If so, ask them what stones were used.
For what it is worth...there are professional honers here in the classifieds based in Europe.

How about Filharmonica? I've seen some of these passing by and they seem rather exclusive.. What's up with this brand?

Good to know it is indeed subjective, but to a certain degree I think everyone agrees one sharpness, right? I don't know how a really clean shave feels like yet, so it might be difficult for me to say anything about it now.

But a regular Barber Shop will be able to create a keen edge, right?
