I confess I tend to like the thumb notches on the blades I do have (not that I dislike the ones that don't)....I also like that unlike my Bismarck, that the TI cut-outs are jimped. It makes the grip much easier for me.
    Yes - snakewood scales....

I have a Dovo Bismarck, the one with the black scales and the faux MOP inlay, must admit, don't like the razor and don't like the shave it gives....big disappointment AFAIK and just my opinion, not a fan of the Dovo's.

Drooling on the keyboard -- ah, pretty blades.
    How does that TI shave?

It is funny to me that you say that...I have a very contentious relationship with my Bismarck. I refuse to let it win, but it is the one razor in my rotation that continues to give me grief despite meticulous maintenance. I need to refresh it at 2x the rate of any other razor I own and just don't generally get along with it. It will give me a great shave...but tends to fight me the whole way.

My Bismarck came back from a fresh pro-honing not long ago, I was very frustrated with this razor.

Had a shave with it, terrible, stubble everywhere, very uneven, sloppy shave, picked up an old W&B that was honed over a year earlier, just stropping when used, beautiful smooth shave.
