    Went ahead and broke down and got this one too. Kind of a funky shape, wedgy. If it don't shave it will be a decorative piece. Hope the Niagara can be reasonably preserved but a few of those pits give me my doubts. Nice good Buffalo, NY on the tang though. We'll see. It didn't cost an arm and a leg so I'm not too worried either way.

    View of the hollow. Definitley not as hollow as some. Be a good practice honer for me.

    The area around Little Valley was THE cutlery making district in the U.S in the old days. Oneida is still there as it Cutco. I know there are others. Buffalo isn't really that far so there would be outfits.
