Thanked: 30I would've never guessed that, especially 玉. To me, 林 looked like 本+小, which is meaningless. 玉林 is a very poetic name, though. I'd translate it to something like "Jade Forest" in English.
Anyway, if you work under similar conditions to most people in Tokyo, I can understand why you've had some difficult months. Fortunately, there are two readily available solutions: onsen and nomihodai.
