Thanked: 18Framebacks. Love em or hate em?
I personally love frameback razors. My swedes are hands down my favorites. They are very well balanced in my opinion.

Thanked: 17Just got my first frameback, not the traditional where the blade is inserted into a frame but the type where the frame is an addition to the spine to get the correct honing angle. I love it. It's big, heavy and gives such a good smooth shave. It's a Wostenholm IXL.

Also love the frame backs. I have a Wostenholm IXL also plus a Joseph Rodgers & Sons, both Sheffield steel and excellent shavers.

I fully appreciate the framebacks and faux framebacks.

I like the faux if they are not too light. The heavy-framed Wostys and Swedes are great!

I rest my case.
