Thread: Trying to get more info on this ERN Solingen Razor 1934 ??

Never met an Ern I didn't like. Here's a link with some manufacturer info.

Good info thanks.. Well I have been having a hell of a time trying to hone my TI... Cleaned this ERN up and started at a Norton 4000...then up to 8000...then on to my Naniwa 12k.... stropping and gave a pretty nice shave for a first honing.. Thanks again for the info..

This must have been an earlier, or less expensive incarnation. It makes it very clear that 1934 is the model number. Note that Ern is missing from the tang mark for some strange reason. At first I thought this may have been due to anti-german feeling after WW2, but Made In Germany is clearly visible on the box along with German Hollow Ground on the blade.

I cannot find that model name in any of the Ern lists, and it is not the Electro Taban, either.

ERN's are some of the nicest shavers around. The 1934 is the model number. Here is a craftsman version I have.
