From a business point of view it is great. Use the money from order #10 to complete order #5. Very easy to abuse.
They are asking you to fund their business and your risk is that the business will be open long enough to get your product in return. At some time the pyramid will collapse. The last investors are the ones that loose.
I see nothing Custom about these razors. They are limited production from a small shop.

1. Hand-made in terms of the crafting of the final product. PRC now uses a water-jet to cut their blanks, but that is fine with me, and does not change the hands-on approach required to "finish" the product.
2. Not sure how many would qualify, because I do not know all of them.
I would say that PRC and the BBW line of razors fall into Production Custom . . . a limited selection of designs, with minimal alterations allowed (my double pinning, for example). Full Customs would be the one-offs that are available from a host of makers.
Each PRC or BBW razor will be unique, after a fashion, and that is all I require to satisfy my ego.
Until I lay out $$$ for a Full Custom.

Well like one poster stated, lets wish Scott well wishes and the team at PRC the best too. I am not sure anything here has hit vindictive or even borderline yet......just peoples opinion as to business and how some companies hit their demise.
That said, just a simple update by the team at PRC as to what que you are up to so one can place that against their invoice que number to have an idea where they stand in line. Nothing like standing in line without being able to see the end to know just how far it goes.
Scott if you are reading................continued good luck and the best for a complete recovery!German blade snob!
