This is my razor. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My razor is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
With due respect to the USMC.

Thanked: 37My Torrey 6/8. Simple & sweet.

Thanked: 12I really can't answer this from experience. I have not shaved with a Straight Razor since I was 18 years old. My Uncle Ralph taught me how to shave with a straight razor. He gave me a nice one when I was in the service. It grew legs and ran away from home (I guess it wasn't happy in my Medicine Cabinet). I do not remember what brand it was. I have 3 that I would consider heirloom that I received when my Aunt Edna Passed away last year.(Uncle Ralph's wife, my mothers sister)
I believe one of them belonged to my Grandfather. The one I would like to shave with is a Spike Straight Razor made by Union Cutlery .Remember "Without Trucks and Truck Drivers" America Stops !

Thanked: 3164Mine is a Dos Angelitos made by Korff & Honsberg:
The above pic is Mikaels, a long-time member here. I managed to get two of them and Mikael bought one - now it is his favourite too.
Regards,
Neil
