Thanked: 2Blonde scales for Ern Ator?
I am now the proud owner of a matching pair of Ern Ator razors, both in good condition.
I really don't need two but the price was too good to pass up! However, do I sell one or do I keep them both and see if I can find a set of blonde scales for one of them?
Your thoughts?

The Ators I have seen in yellow celluloid were in sets. Otherwise, the black Bakelite/hard rubber ones seem to be the norm.

I rest my case.

Very nice! The black, distinctly curved 'Ator' scales are the signature of this razor. I can recommend refraining from rescaling them.

Thanked: 498As Sharptonn stated it would be sacrilegious to purposely get rid of those beautiful scales. It makes a fabulous razor Perfect when its complete and intact with those sexy curved scales.
And this is spoken from someone who smashed plenty of Bakelite ATOR scales trying to salvage them. With those fragile rifle stock scales its almost a certainty to shatter the pivot end off doing anything to them.

Enjoy them as they are. You would be hard pressed to find another pair like them............
