Thanked: 0Dovo Special
After long deliberation and hours of trolling this forum I took the plunge and ordered a Dovo Special.
Much to my excitement my parcel arrived today. Until now I have been shaving with a Bluebeards Revenge shavette. And life was fine...
The razor was not sharp enough to shave with straight out of the box.... but after much research and tons of videos on YouTube I was able to strop my razor so that it will shave like a dream.

Thanked: 0Well this morning I was finally able to test the razor.... All I can say is i wish I had bore beard to shave off. I did not want to stop. It was incredible. The blade made a very distinctive sound while gliding over my face and with almost no effort shaved soooooo close.
I am really happy with the blade and very happy that I was able to strop it to an acceptable shaving edge. Looking forward to improving technique.

Thanked: 4Beautiful razor. I really like those tortoise shell scales. So what did you do to get it shave ready? Looks like some chromox paste in the pic maybe?
