Haven't received it yet, but it is supposed to arrive shave ready although I am going to have it professionally honed.

It's a German Bismarck! It will be a great razor. I am partial to Germans...........it is in my blood I guess!

No need to waste your money he is a professional. His honing is first rate and most likely better than a lot of other "professionals". I have had numerous of his razors all were as advertised and better yet very much shave ready. Fast shipping and good quality work.

You purchased from an excellent source. I watched this auction and considered bidding on the Bismarck myself but just bought a Wonderedge from him and it is my number 1 or 2 shaver out of hundreds.

Just my two cents worth based on numerous experiences with him.

Thanks so much for the info. The razor looks beautiful. I'll use it as soon as it arrives.

I like the pre-Dovo Bismarck straights. I have a 14 that is an excellent shaver. Enjoy.

Received my Bismarck today and was a little disappointed with the shave. Not nearly what I was hoping for. I bought a Berti Bertenburg two weeks ago and it shaves much better. Will give the Bismarck a few more tries before I put it in a box.
