I can't say enough good things about mine. It is classified as a half hollow and that is what the grind profile is like but it shaves as close as a full hollow somehow. It has no trouble with my 3 day growth. I have a few very high end blades but this one is definitely vying for top spot. Very comfortable and solid feeling blade.

I also do like my Hart but this Brian Brown Razor Works razor is in a class all it's own. Very easy to strop whereas with the Hart I really have to pay very close attention while stropping due to the very thick shank. The steel he uses is a specialized steel from Europe. Not 01, something different. With a Jnat edge, it's really, really nice to shave with. Two big thumbs up on this one.

I think Brian's new razors are fantastic. Be aware that even though Brian describes his razors as half hollow, they appear to be a fairly thin grind. This is a plus IMO as I prefer more hollow grinds, the only reason that I bring this up is because your original post said you were looking for heavier grinds.

A friend is sending me a BRW to try that I should receive tomorrow.

Thankd for letting me know, that is a good point.
Would you say it is full hollow or more 3/4 hollow as opposed to half? Hate to sound fussy, i just wanna know as it costs a bit.

I have one in 6/8 and 2nd all of the above remarks. The grinds are fantastic and really one of the only small batch producers making something more than 1/4 hollow. Additionally, Brian was an absolute pleasure to deal with and his shipping was fast and prompt.

I would say it's about half. Here are a couple of pics of mine.

When you look at the grind profile it is definitely what I would call a Half Hollow. Shaves as stiffly as a half hollow but with the closeness of a full hollow for me. I haven't used anything like it. Not meaning to sound like a fanboy...as this is the first BB razor that I have used. But I am very pleased with it, as I guess can be inferred from my posts...

I was actually very pleasantly surprised by the amount of audio feedback I got from mine. I have several TI 5/8 half-hollows that give no audible feedback of any tangible sort...this was a nice unexpected "feature" to me that I appreciate from my full-hollows.

The profile that Denvernoob posted does indeed look like what I would call half hollow (thanks Denver). I have seen pictures of some of the new line that Brian has ground much thinner than what I would call half hollow though.

The ones he has ground slightly thinner I understand he has given a belly to. Thereby increasing the stiffness at the edge.

Agreed about the feedback! It is quite pronounced.
