Plenty of bargains around at the moment. Northern hemisphere summer causes the prices to drop quite a bit.

Jason when you get another razor if that's what you want, get that one honed i agree with hart looks like it'll do till you really learn how to shave ,, no sense in getting in too big till you have it down with the stropping and lather ,, I bet with a good edge on it , you might be pretty happy with it. I know until I got my first honing done I really didn't know what shave ready was , being a guy honing knives I thought I knew , boy was I wrong . Tc

JIW,
If I may suggest, please have your razor honed professionally to give yourself a good start. HHT means little unless all the variables are met in the test.
The Kriegar is worthless. If you would like a couple other razors, please consider some of the new models — Ralf Aust, Boker, Thiers-Issard, Dovo and Revisor — or find something in the classified.
Also, I suggest seeing what you buy. A couple other straights in the shave den is always nice to have.
