Thank you for telling me about the Chevalier's point, I had not noticed that it was so muted. Buying a square or a round point and putting a French point could be an option,

Your pictures clearly show how muted the point is; thank you. The Chevalier is a beautiful razor; If the point was not muted it should almost be the perfect razor.

    Where in Sweden are you?

Who makes the Kikuokon 77? I cannot find anything about it.

I do not understand what you mean with “checks off all of your boxes“. Could you please be more specific?

I can see that you like the Italian Blue Floïd; I strongly like the Italian Amber Floïd and the D.R. Harris Pink aftershave. However, when I comes to shaving soaps, I prefer the Mitchell's Wool Fat soap.
"Checks all the boxes" Is an expression which basically means all of the criteria are filled, (imagine your list of requirements had a box to tick or cross next to each item).

With your budget of $400 dollars add a little more cash and you could be looking at a nice custom with all your requirements rolled into one, that's certainly something to think about.

Kikuokon is one of the prolific Japanese manufacturers. Many of them in the wild, especially on the auction site.

Floid is one of my all time favorites, both amber and blue
!! Enjoy the exquisite taste sharpening sharpening taste exquisite smooth. Please taste the taste enough to ride cutlery.
