Never been able to get a good shave from my Le Dandy. It's an older one, and round nose so I don't reach for it often. Maybe after I 'French' it up I will try again. Yours looks much nicer than mine. Enjoy it. Glad you are happy with it.

Mike, let it ferment awhile & then get back to it. It may very well work out after all.

Yep, that's the number I called, twice. The person told me to give them 2-3 days to respond.

On a positive note, the SRD package was delivered today, but the first one is still in limbo.

Its funny how USA folks buy from Europe and admire the workmanship.
I'm from England and I'd take American blades over Europe any day of the week.
I think Hart Steel make the best shavers imo .
Saying all of that I'm desperate for a Sheffield made blade and they mainly are sold from USA, go figure

Funny you say that. I was in high school and college in the 80's and while I loved rock music of the 80's, I liked the British bands/artist much better than US artist/bands. Go figure that!

That said.............overall, I think the German razors best but I have to say, my latest razor which is a PRC from Portland, Oregon and made by US artisans just may be a top runner. Time will tell.
    German blade snob!

They will do that to see if you got your package. SRD usually delivers in 3 business days in the US.

Usually for me the USPS does great but when they do mess up it does not make sense at all! Had a package that had tracking and was insured once and it got all the way to Asheville when I lived in Weaverville. For you folks wondering......Weaverville was 8 miles from Asheville roughly or the two post offices were. I went to my local PO where it would come through and they called up there and asked and got my cell number to call me once they found it. Never did find it....................I mean it showed in the main hub in Asheville but they could not find it. Correct me if I am wrong with tracking..............it had t be scanned to show there?!?!?

They had no real answer why it was in limbo/lost other than it was.

You just have to sit back and laugh sometimes and let it roll off your back. And as always buy insurance on expensive things if given the opportunity.

I have packages mailed from the east coast & end up in someplace like Denver, then back to here in Texas!!!!! And they cry about how they want raises & such.............
