Thread: Found a cutthroat knife.

I've seen that O S with crossing arcs cutler mark before on a webpage of cutler marks. So somebody out there does know the maker. Maybe I'll remember where I saw it.

Anyway, nice razor. Get it honed up and shave with it.

It's a decent looking razor. It was made in Solingen, Germany which was one of the worlds centres of excellence when it comes to razor making so it's a quality item. Another good razor making area was Eskilstuna, Sweden so you might find a locally made razor if you look around.
Give the razor a good polish with something not too abrasive, like Maas and then send it off to get honed.

I will put up some more pics when it's ready for use again.

That looks like a quality made straight razor to me. Hone it or get it honed by a pro & use it. It should give you an excellent shave!
