Thanked: 3I guess what I was trying to say (and poorly) is that if her were to post a picture of his razor and it was engraved would people say "why in the world did he do that?" I do not know if you are a football fan but, GO SWANS!

As a layperson buying a straight razor, I would stay away from ebay and buy something new, well made, pretty and that is guaranteed to be shave-ready out of the box. I think he won't be disappointed with a nice brand new Ralf Aust. Here's mine, a 7/8 with black horn scales.

Thanked: 3"GO SWANS!!!" Might look a little silly on a razor. Maybe I should put that on his Derringer instead.
"BiTCHiN'!" is a strong option, but I was more thinking his initials.Last edited by CrabbyCakes; 09-23-2015 at 05:55 PM.

With that budget, maybe a new Thiers Issard.

Initials are perfectly doable on the blade itself.
