That's in great shape . I would value that at around XXX.xx not including tax and license, dealer prep, and shipping fees.
Don't polish off the gold on the tang when you get it. It's very easy to do. Some guys will clear coat the gold to save it but I have never had any luck clear coating metal anything to keep it shiny. Hope the deal works out for you.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Excellent point - used a bit of Tuf-Glide on the pivot area of a Dovo Bismarck, gave it a wipe with tissue when I went to use it - no more gold wash in that area...that easy and it's gone.

No Tuf-Glide - that will remove the gold wash pronto.

My post said I used a bit of Tuf-Glide on the gold wash on the pivot area of a Dovo Bismarck, it removed the gold wash almost immediately with one wipe of tissue.

Value is very subjective, and dependent on what the buyer is willing to pay, after all it is only his opinion that counts.

A quick look at the EBay sold listings, reflects why we avoid the quoting of value, they are all over the map. And then add condition, poor photos and cell rot, a very common condition with Ducks and prices vary even more.

Personally, I stay away from Ducks because of cell rot, so for me, value is very low. There are other brands that I collect that others may not value at all.

Personally, I stay away from Dubl Ducks because they usually go for much more than I think they're worth on account of them being incredibly common and, indeed, also because of those dodgy scales.
    Badgister and BobH like this.
