Thread: Gold Dollars..which is the best?

IMO,, this statement of yours says it all when it comes to Gold Dollars, "I spent about 3 hours yesterday honing this beast,,,"

If a razor takes 3 hours honing to bring shave ready, then you have a problem razor. I am not the best honer by far, but 30 to 45 minutes tops, on any of my razors from a bevel set.

I actually hope that Gold Dollars stay in the market; it keeps newbees from butchering the good vintage razors that surface from time to time.
