    Default Buying first razor used.

So I have read and read about razors and thought it would be fun project to buy my first razor used and try to renew it. The only problem is that I got couple of razors in local auction site but I dont know which one I should start working with. Couple options are

    100 BIEDERMEIER
    H.EICKERWERKZEUGE Solingen-Wald
e more when you press they arrow
    Looks like its good condition

The Improved Eagle Razor. Garantie Solingen
    e
I really like the style but seems like it has been used a lot. Will it be a problem?

    Damascus razor Solingen
    e

Prize range of these blades is 20-30€. Should I ask more detailed pictures of the blade edge or will it help? What is your opinion? Or should I continue looking on bigger auction sites. Savings of 10€ is not so important I can pay that price I can order it locally from same country. Dont know if this is the right section for this kinda post but I did not find anything better.

Welcome Harje. You could go up to the beginner's subforum and introduce yourself to all!
Razors, vintage and new, are all about quality and condition. Neither comes before the other. Both are necessary.

Welcome! Restoring a straight is fun, but you might want to get one that is truly shave ready first so you have an index for the shaving edge
sharptonn, Aldwyn and outback like this.
