Yes it is, it's very nicely color matched. Just eyeballing I'd say the material is 1/16" or slightly less thick. Without doing any testing I believe that the scale and tang material is celluloid. If it is I just hope it's many years before it starts to break down.
I hope to give it a ride on the hones Friday. I'll report about the shave.Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Honing the Wilbert;
There are certain conditions that I refuse to hone and those are;
1. If I'm tired
2. If I'm stressed
3. If I'm ill
4. If I'm not 'into it'.
I like to enjoy it and not feel it's a 'Task'.
Well today at work was a Bitch, and when I got home all four were keeping me from honing my gifted razor. But after working on cleaning up the hand clippers and had torn the vintage electric clippers apart to see what it would take to bring them back to life including polishing some of the exterior cases things were feeling better.
I took a break and then I felt that I could hone my gift.
Lately I've been using two pieces of electrical tape on the spine on full hollow razors to set the bevel on my King 1200 and then I switch to one layer and reset the bevel on my Norton 4K with slurry. Please don't ask me why as so far it's working out well.
OK! Here's the progression:
On the 1200 with slurry; 20 of Glen's modified Japanese strokes, then 20 circles and then 20 X-strokes. Repeated on clear water.
On the Norton 4K with slurry, 20 circles and then 20 X-strokes. Repeated on clear water.
Same on the Norton 8K.
On the Naniwa 12K only 20 X-strokes on slurry and 20 on clear water.
On the Zulu Grey: 20 X-strokes on slurry then 20 X-strokes on clear water on the slurry side. Then turned the hone over to the side polished to 2K and gave a spray of Windex and did 20 very, very light X-strokes.
Stropped 50 laps on SRD cotton then 50 laps on Neil Miller Linen then 100 laps on Neil Miller English Bridle then 100 laps on SRD Kangaroo leather.
Then I did my usual pre-shave prep and gave it ago.
I'm writing this with a wonderful Clean Close and Comfortable shave!
This razor is going to the front of the line! It's a keeper!
I will play with a Cr Ox pasted strop to see how that feels. I don't mind a 'crispy' feeling edge and this was however some don't, however I wouldn't be ashamed to send this razor to someone who had sent it to me for honing.
