    Default Ho Ho Ho! Christmas came early!

    Hi all,

    An old friend told me that she had a 'Bag of Razors' for me and that she'd bring them by the next time she was in town. Well today she showed up with the 'Bag of Goodies'. They had come from her mother in law's home and were found in the storage area where the canned goods had been stored.

    She told me that she knew that there was a straight razor but other than that she didn't know what everything else was.

    Here's what was inside the bag;

    Here's the Straight Razor/I couldn't help but clean it up with her looking as it didn't need much help! I took this outside as the flash wasn't working out well.

    Here's something else that was in the bag of goodies;

    And the razor with some friends:

    I just tossed my letter to Santa away as I'm a very happy kid and it isn't even Christmas yet!

    Nice score. My Wilbert has MOP. It is a good shaver.

    I'm up to my ass in alligators with having my daughter and her two children here for supper. I'll get to honing it when I get the time. Right now family comes first!

    It's got a nice radius at the toe. My Wilbert Pearl spike is a great shave and also my 2nd most likely to bite, right after my Morris Red Imp wedge.

    Congrats on a very nice surprise Roy. No coal in that stocking. Beautiful straight. Enjoy.

    That's a nice surprise! The tang is interesting, is that the same material as the scale on it?

    My Wilbert doesn't have a covered tang on it but all Wilbert's give very good shaves. That non electric hair clipper might be German made. Does it have a name and number on the insides of the handles? I have a Henckel's clipper, pristine, complete with box and papers. It's a little sweetheart.

    Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Joyful Kwanza and any other holiday you want to throw in.
