Thanked: 734I've long wanted a Puma Special, 6/8 and square tip. Then I realized that I have several razors that are 6/8 and square tip. And you know what, they shave great. So what am I chasing? Well, if a Puma presents itself I'll buy it. But I'm not worried about it. At some point you've bought some good stuff and you simply have to appreciate it. It takes a while but once you're there, trust your past and enjoy the fruits of your pursuits.

The one razor I've always wanted to acquire is a Joseph Smith & sons (Sheffield), had chances over the years to pick one up but for some reason just never did. There's a few others too, but that maker is still an interest to me.

Thanked: 581Been looking for a mint example of a Tiki razor with not much luck. It was a re-branded Gotta for the local Maori, pretty sure. After that it will be Hirlau's brand new custom with 1 shave on it, once he decides those Krypytonite scales ain't quite right, and that huge de pews fake monkey tail just looks silly....

I am not that familiar with all the vintage razors yet, but I'd really love to have a complete 7-day set once.
I know Thiers Issard used to make them, and they still will if you're willing to pay for them I guess. And there will be others as well of course.
Just the sight of a nice wooden box with matching razors is a lovely thing._____
