My eye says microtome. It looks hollowed on one side but not the other, and not very hollowed either.
I think it appears that way as the blade is leaning to one side, Rez. Tilt your head and look again. I say wedge.

Personally, Judging by the overall fit and finish of that razor, I would go with Microtome.

Not ALL microtomes follow the asymmetrical grind pattern.

There is no reason not to think that a microtome wedge grind might not have a shallow to it.

My guess is near wedge. I looks to have a slight hollow on both sides. One way to find out is to give it a couple laps on a finishing stone and see where the stone marks. Edge and spine on both sides near wedge.

    Guys,

who say this is a wedge, they won.

i tried to hone it as a microtome, nothing but a big bevel. after recleaned it, tried as a wedge. it's coming to be ready to cut my arm hairs.

pictures will come when i finished.

i don't really see the difference between the C and a normal wedge blade.

I know I am a little late, but it is a wedge, the symmetry is off on all of those old hand ground blades. Nothing unusual.
