I use a straight got my face but an adjustable DE for my head. Once I find the setting that works for me, that's pretty much where the razor stays. I've seen a few people who make adjustments on each pass, and this razor would not be a great fit for that method. But for the set it and forget it crowd, this 6S would fit nicely, if it turns out to be a good shaver.

Thanked: 3228Everyone is different in how they use an adjustable DE from what I can read. Me, I worked up to the setting with the most blade gap and left it there for all my passes and any blade during a shave.
Nice thing about an adjustable is that it is flexible enough to allow you other options. It is a razor you can grow into because as your technique improves you can increase the razor's aggressiveness.
