Thread: Issue with new Ralf Aust - thoughts?

To the OP a few things I know.
1 I have never met Lynn or done any business with SRP.
2 This site was started by Lynn and he is by all accounts a good business man and a lover of wet shaving and sharing of knowledge.
3 I have learned 50% of what I know of wet shaving from this site and my fellow members.
4 We the members sometimes verbalize in a manner that is passionate to an extreme.
5 99% of members are here to help. We are the last of the Mohicans, Sometimes we just swing our tomahawks a little too vigorously.
We mean no harm, we do overreact. Your question was fair, and well stated.
Please post when it works out and it will, you are welcome here and the community looks forward to your posts and experience in the future

If the OP did that on my site I say it was all fair against the vendor for not taking care of an issue that should have been by them.

But like I stated in a earlier post......I bet Lynn will take care of the OP's blade with no charge if they really have a issue that is not on the users end.

Good luck OP and don't worry from those who got defensive here......not sure what stake they may have in things. I think some just have nothing better to do.

^ I was unaware you knew me personally and my situation. Maybe it's all a matter of perspective and I perceived it as an inappropriate way to fix a problem for the simple fact he didn't contact the vendor prior to making this thread. If he did maybe I'd be singing a different tune. You all can tell him what you want I still feel the same.

Like I said before I hope it all works out for him.

That's very hurtful.

But seriously, if you think my posts were "attacking" anyone, I simply can't help you. Most people would disagree with you, I suspect, as most people aren't hothouse flowers looking for offense at every turn. One of the things I posted was "I've purchased items from SRD before, with happy results, and will continue to do so." Brutal, I know. My comment above about already having contacted vendors by posting here was - try to get your head around this - a joke. Given the back and forth over the last day, I thought it was a mildly amusing comment. If you didn't, and chose to find it to be some microcosmic representation of my general lack of intelligence, so be it. Good grief.
