Thanked: 4822With the very slight show of a heel I would be inclined to think 1810ish, a grand score from my perspective. Others have many early examples in their collection, mine is very slim on that era and I think it is a wonderful score. I would be dancing if that was my score.

Nice find. The scales look like they could be wood with a bone wedge? Hopefully that rust isn't too deep.

Thanked: 580Nice find. Like Substance said, the scales may not be original. If you send it out for a pro restore, I would try to keep it period correct. There are quite a number of nice restores of that era on SRP .
