Thread: Frameback question

Just picked up a frameback yesterday and had a question on the possible maker. There are no markings on the front side of the blade. But on the back side seems to be a name in cursive writing.
The name is faint and hard to see, and looks to say W. Norvek.
Is this the maker?
Where would it be from?
What year/century?
