Well as a nurse she should know that is not true. Ask if the doctors scalpels are new, ask if the utensils at the restraunt is new,, these are not the reasons , now if you just want to pay a premium for NOS now that's a good reason, creepy crawlers on a razor that's used hummm! You don't know where the NOS razor has been either.. Consider that. She must know how to sanitize things if she's concerned, a vintage used razor that is bought from the classifieds will be shave ready which will be the most important issue for you and it will be sanitized before you get it,,, jump in the waters fine.
