It certainly looks like HC Trenery never made razors, but he could have sold them. The censuses from 1881 to 1901 have him as a nut and bolt manufacturer. He left 4572 pounds 12s 6d when he died, which was a considerable sum at that time.

Interesting Maladroit, possibly not unusual for a Sheffield razor of that era to be marketed under another manufacturers name. Then again I wouldn't be surprised to see a few come out of a "nuts and bolts" factory either.
