Thanked: 3226I don't mute the tips either and the ear lobes are not the only place to watch out for. You can wind up with a cut any place on your face if you let the tip dig in. You just have to pay constant attention through the whole shave no matter the type of tip on the razor you are using to shave with. More so with certain types of tips though.

Just go nice and slow at first until you get use to the razors profile. I love a French point!
