Good point. I was thinking of chopping with the heel and finishing with the toe.

I was thinking of chopping front half of blade off and use the rest to remove staples.

Seems like a classic example of an answer to a question no one ever asked.

Dang. Didn't mean to poke the hornets nest. Errr, well... maybe a bit. They say they honed it so it's shave ready. I was rather puzzled how. "Tapers to zero" so maybe but I'm not sure I'd call the back half a spine exactly.
There are also hints that it's a knife not exactly a razor so maybe it's supposed to be carried in the boot not shaved with.
At any rate, I generally perfer vintage. I like things old school.
I was puzzled how double tapers would even shave.
    Odd concept.
Good luck. I expect they should be sold next to nunchucks and fake brass knuckles not on a shaving site but I'm no expert.

Pretty soon some new guy who didn't do his homework will be here asking why he can't shave with his new expensive razor, Maybe as expensive as it is now that it's at 2 shops, most new guys will stay away from it, and experienced guys probably won't buy it, Oh well. Tc

You always get what you pay for don't you know. Well, maybe not always, maybe some of the time.

There are FAR too many Beautiful razors to waste my money and time with that thing. It's not even an RSO
