I use new, but never used, cigar boxes. They are hard balsa wood apparently. Not the soft stuff in hobby stores. I recently bought some desiccant gel packs and a humidity indicator. Thing that shocked me is even with 30times the amount of desiccant, the humidity in there is lower than outside, but tracks along with it. At the moment, the humidity in the box is 60%, outside is over 80% though. I'm not sure why this is. Maybe the wood is still drying out?
