Thanked: 77Romo 8/8
Dose anyone know anything about this razor. I would also like to replace the handle do to the crack around the pivot. Anyone have any advice on how to inlay the solgen emblem into a new set of scails.

Not sure about anything other than the asking price, I would pass for that. Tc

I mean this is from Rosenbaum & Mogal (New York) Cutlery or directly from Solingen for this customer.Greetings from Germany.

Thanked: 55Might be worth seeing if revisor do replacement scales like those, I've seen identical scales on some revisor methinks

Thanked: 3228That is a good idea. If you contact Revisor you can ask if they have a set of scales like these Spare parts : E-0013 to fit an 8/8 razor . The you could just transfer the Solingen inlay yourself. Revisor may even be able to supply the scales with the Solingen inlay already attached. Worth a shot.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw that price tag
I personally would not give more than $50 for that one because it looks like it needs some fixing up to take out the scratches and blemishes. Plus it looked like the scales have a hairline scratch in them at the pivot.German blade snob!

tell me about the razor in the bottom left of the first pic. Looks like an old frameback or something.
