Thread: Picked up this razor at antique festival looks very crude and old.. Any help?

    Those pictures look better than a lot of the ones I've seen on eBay. Because there are so many I've always just gone on the assumption that they are not that old and certainly not rare. Some of them look cool, that one looks pretty cool. I have no idea if it is a real vintage razor or even a real razor but it is absolutely a great conversation piece. If it was pretty inexpensive I'd say it is a winner, if it is actually a razor, it's awesome, if it is actually an old razor, that's the bomb.

    Yes try and put an edge on that thing. Would be interesting to see if it could be made to shave.

    They are also used in India but those have a longer spindle turned handle and colorful paint on them.
