Sometimes, I pick something up and ask her; Really? Then I chuck it. She never does it to me.....yet.
I am a paint brush, roller, drop cloth, everything else, nut. Clean it and use it again!
    Such a concept!

When we were in Florida last winter, my wife's razor that has a cartridge and cream in one gizmo broke. She asked me if she could borrow my safety razor. I put a brand new feather pro in my Mongoose and told her to just use the weight of the razor. After the first pass she said it was amazing how sharp and clean it shaves. I told her any pressure and she will see bone. After her shave she said alright I admit there may be some merit to what I am collecting. Next time she wants a razor, I'll give her my Mastro Livi 7/8 straight with the antler scales. HA HA.

With women it is like justifying all purchases when they will try and justify all those shoes; earrings; necklaces; and makeup as necessary for a particular outfit or social evening.

I say why argue..............just buy it and ignore them. Then again if that bothers you, have all your razors scaled in the same material and she will swear it is the same razor and never ask again is that a new one!!!!!

Usually the conversation goes like this:

Wife: "When did you get this tool?"

Me: "Remember the bed I made for you - well I needed it to do the slats"

Wife: "I would really like a china cabinet as your next project"

Me: Thinking to myself, mind a blur, what other tool I can buy?

I am actually blessed with a wonderful wife that lets me indulge in my odd hobbies.

Bit once tells me why get bit twice. Lesson learned. Learned more about myself than her and realized once was all I needed in the marriage department. I'm a happy born again bachelor that doesn't mind just my own company and that of a cat or two.
