What a find....seen one of those go for $1,200 on eBay...if you're going to get into collecting DE's, you're starting at the top of the summit, and we're all waiting at the bottom.

I had a prototype toggle, sold it long ago, but mine was gold plated. IIRC the handle is shorter by a bit than the standard toggle. Most important, if that is nickel it is worth even more AFAIK. I can't tell from the photos, but most of them were gold plated, so if it is nickel ....... big bucks.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 3215If it is gold, don’t use any polish on it.
They were lacquer coated and any metal polish will remove the lacquer and the gold.
Soap and water only and use a soft brush.
