    Thank you!!!

I gave it a cursory read, and of course bookmarked it, and I certainly intend to study it more. In addition, I really appreciate the opportunity to read through all the references that you listed.

Again, thank you for making the effort to provide this information.

Excellent work I must say I wonder if a photo of my Iwasaki with it's box could be of use to you? My razor is 812 on the rockwell chart which is RC 64.

Thank you for the very kind replies,
it is all done with great pleasure, and yes, it took a while... , especially the translation of Japanese texts,
although I don't speak or read Japanese...

"celticcrusader": I very much would like to use these pictures of your Iwasaki with it's box, it is truly excellent and is again a bit of extra information! Thanks a lot! I will incorporate it in the course of this week, thanks again!

    Great resource and read.
If you want to add more, here is a link to a 1676.3

    Also here is 1819.1

and here is a 1342.2 , although I am not sure the third digit is a 4 since it does not correspond to that number kanji ( I found a reference translating it as Atom).

Thanks! I will incorporate it as well in the course of this week, thanks!
The "4" should be 4, on Japanese sites I've seen several times that this symbol is indeed a 4
