Here's a couple project razors I found locally in New Hampshire. They sure ain't pretty and I've just sort of been sitting on them until I'm ready to figure them out. The top one I found last summer at a seasonal antiques store and it measures 17/16. It has some sort of pressed hard leather(?) homemade scales that trapped a lot of moisture on the tang so the tang stamp is almost completely rusted away. The bottom one is 8/8 and I found it at a "closed" antiques store. The guy's father ran the store out of an out-building on their property until a few years ago and when he passed the son just left it sit. I was just Googling and calling random antiques stores one day about four years ago, the number was still active and the son told me he would open it up if I wanted to take a look. He was firm on the price his dad put on it there and the sticker is still on the scales - $9.00. Someday I hope to work on cleaning these up.

Here's an old picture of one of mine after the cleanup.
Just shaved with it this morning.
One of my favorites!
