    So I am unfamiliar with these, but I am intrigued. I was not aware there was a left handed or a right handed blade with these razors.

    It's all about the grind. The traditional kamisori is ground like a sashimi sushi knife. One side is nearly flat, with just the hint of a hollow, the other side a normal hollow grind is applied. Because the blade is asymmetrical, it will either be a lefty or a righty, depending on which side of the blade has the flat grind.
