Thanked: 3222If you really must have a shaving bowl for travel, I'd look at a collapsible rubber dog bowl. Similar to this: PetmateŽ Collapsible Travel Dog Bowl | dog Portable Food Bowls | PetSmart . Easy to store and non metallic.

When traveling I either use a coffee mug or water glass in the room or face lather. I usually pack proraso cream and a brush that I put into a medicine bottle with holes drilled in the top. Razor choice depends on where I'm going and for how long, sometimes it's a straight and travel strop, sometimes it's a DE.

Thanked: 4Thank you all for you input and opinions. I have finally decided on what I will take;
Razor: Dovo Shavette (DE Open razor)
Brush: Taylor of old Bond Street pure badger (not expensive or fancy but works very well)
Soap: Taylor of old Bond Street 60g sandalwood (comes in a little container with a screw lid, If I feel the need to lather in a bowl it will double up)
A/S: small alum/ designer moisturiser I got for a gift.
Thanks again guys!

Thanked: 96I use a DE Merkur Futur with blue platinum blades. I picked up a one cup tupperware container with lid and place Cella cream in it. I then face lather. I store the blades in a brass razor container I picked up on Ebay. It makes it very easy to go through TSA. Less is better when traveling.
