I just got my new Wapienica in the mail yesterday. Haven't tried it out yet but it looked like it was on the good to buy list and the seller was as well. It was such a good price I figured I could practice my honing techniques on it. I was just wondering if anybody on SRP would make scales for these.

When he buys my Dovo 6/8 in Barcelona the salesman said to me that tapeworm spare part scales, although does not ask the price.

I like the horror movie (think Hostel ) look of the stock Wapi scales. I got use to the disproportionate weight too. Are the scales stainless steel?
There is a big chunk of metal at the end of the scales, I would bet if you un-pinned it and replaced that with a piece of plastic it would help to even out the weight.Last edited by bth88; 07-05-2007 at 06:07 PM.

I put a grey bone handle from classic shaving on 1 of my Wapi's it was my first attempt luckily I bought some extra pins because it took me 3 goes to get it right the scales fitted better when I used the bushes that where fitted to the razor originally. paul
