Greetings. I am USN stationed on the Greek isle, Crete, and saw this Razor at a knife shop. Owner says steel is of Syrian origin, high carbon steel forged over Damascus layering. Scales is made of bone, but I neglected to ask what kind. Price is quite high - 380€. I only took this one photo. Forgive some some of what appears to be major pitting, it is debris adhering to the coat of oil. Would this be a likely ripoff or worth consideration?
