    Default Kamisori vintage or fake

    Hi,
I saw this razor, and was wondering if there is a way to tell by the pics if it is vintage or modern?
and are there any rules to honing ? all I have been able to pick up is that you hone the back for than the front.

Can't really see the pic but the name is genuine, honed tons of them, in fact my newer Kamisori Honing vid is one of them take a look on here for the vid or on my YouTube Channel

That will give you some idea of how to get them up and running

Nope, You hone the front more than the back. In case you don't know which is which the back is the stamped side.

oops, that was a typo, should be back more than the front, not back for the front.

I figured that which is why I corrected you. The back should always have the teeniest of bevels with majority honing on the front.

That should go to your email I guess. Maybe a post in "Site Help" as I don't know what to suggest.

I have mine set to "Through my control panel only" as I'm on everyday anyway but I still get notification of pm's via email.

is there a good way to determine the price for kamisoris ? or just watch and see what they are going for?
For what its worth the modern ones seem to be 3 -4 times more than the vintage ones is there a reason , or that's just how the market currently is?
