    You're welcome, my friend!

Palmeras are tough birds to find; EPBDs are great shavers--if you run across one that's not insanely expensive, give 'em a go (while the rubber grips are cool, if that's missing, don't let that stop ya from getting one--the tangs are jimped). Don't recall many fellas not liking the shaves off of them and they perform really well on gnarly buzzard beards like mine.

Thanks for your thoughts Jay on the Koraat, and yes, the EPBDs are awesome razors, found one when I first started, and just peeled some whiskers off with a one pass...only did one because a soap that had been sitting unused now sits in the trash bin, so save a shave for tomorrow with some stellar soap - but for one pass, not much left.

I'm pretty much done buying razors, but just when you thought you're out, you get sucked back in.....

Andrew I thought I was pretty much done, too but then Lord Thundering Jesus my RAD vacuum reared its head again these past few...kinda like my SAD!

Ulrik's comment on my EPBD has had my wheels turning turning today.... I have a beater EPBD that I may send Ulrik to get the grind specs off of...am thinking of a smiling custom with a similar grind. Hmmm, gotta give this idea some more serious thought and then perhaps make more space in my Gerstner....

Immediately after chatting with you (here) I found and ordered a NOS EPBD but to do so I dumped heavy coin to get it (you only live one & I'm a geezer so what the hell). Before it arrives I will try to learn how to post pictures here so I can share it with all my equally crazy straight razor friends. I hate not knowing how to post pictures or I would have offered some for :shave of the day."

@Learner: I was watching that EPBD and when I saw it ended, I was wondering if it was you that nailed it! Well done my friend—I hope you love the shave it brings—looking forward to hearing how it performs for you! Us crazy straight razor geezers rule!

And now that I’ve lead another poor soul down the RAD path of perdition, Lord Thundering Jesus my work here is done!

This will be my fourth Philly. I listed the others I have somewhere above. This will make my second NOS both 14s.
